N.A.P.S. FIELD RULES

1.)
Spectators are not
permitted closer
than 25 feet to aircraft unless invited by a member.
2.) An adult must supervise children at
all times; pets must be on a
leash.
3.) All pilots must have current AMA and
adhere to both the A.M.A.
saftey code and the clubs saftey rules.
4.)
Visiting flyers must have current AMA card with them.
Guests are the responsibility of the NAPS member who invited them.
5.) Frequency control devices must be
placed on the frequency control
stand prior to turning on radio and removed after completion of flying.
No radios maybe operated in the parking area, whenever other
pilots are at or on the field. (winter flying).
6.) EFFECTIVE
Silencers are required for all
engines.
7.) Each pilot is responsible to prevent fuel spillage/leakage on the field.
8.) All aircraft are to be started and test run pointed towards the main runway.
9.)
No engine may be started prior to 8:00am or after dusk. No
aircraft are to be flown prior to 9:00am or after dusk. Electric
planes up to 1/4 scale may be flown between 8:00am and dusk.
10.)
When flying, pilots will be on designated flight boxes, which are
painted on the field. If flight boxes are not painted, pilots
need to maintain separation to prevent radio interference.
11.) Absolutely no flying is allowed over the pit area or spectators.
12.)
If necessary due to cross-winds pilots may use the alternate
runway, but must first announce their intentions to all other pilots
and must check to make sure the path is clear of obstructions and
people.
13.)
Flying is prohibited over neighboring property. If there is
reason to recover aircraft, permission must be obtained.
14.) Do not taxi aircraft in the pit area. After your flight, shut down your engine outside the flight line.
15.) Each flyer is responsible for any damage they cause to property or persons.
16.) Beginners are the responsibility of their instructor.
17.) Alcoholic beverages are prohibited before or while flying.
18.) Excessive use of foul language will fall with in the parameters laid out under SECTION 4 of the BY-LAWS.
